Business and Marketing Education Initial Licensure Program (ILP)
The Initial Licensure Program in Business and Marketing Education at NCSU is a 12 credit hour program consisting of three courses in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. This is one of the lateral entry programs in the Alternative Teacher Education Program offered at NCSU. The 12 credit hour program is described in the Courses & Programs page. These courses are offered as extension courses and delivered entirely via the Internet and field-based experiences.
Occasionally, undergraduate business or marketing programs may be deficient in content or specialty area courses. When this situation exists, additional courses will be identified and recommended. To determine if the ILP is appropriate for your needs, you may wish to review the Questions link related to ILP. Enrollees in the ILP have a University classification of ED UN. This classification determines windows of registration.
